Press ESC to stop the music VISITS TO THE CEMETERY INTRODUCTION View Music: Peace in the Valley View Rose (inspirational poem) May 2003 This spring's trip to the cemetery was rainy and cool, very much like last years visit. The graves in the Kittanning cemetery were overgrown and a mess once again. I'm including some before photos so you can see how bad they were. The graves at Pine Creek were in better shape. The silk flowers that I put on the graves last May lasted through the summer and winter with only a little fade to indicate their age. The silk flowers at Pine Creek were all replaced with new ones. I put new silk flowers on the graves in the Kittanning cemetery as well. I put a new flag at Bill's grave this year as the one I placed there last year was all tattered. May 2002 This year's trip to the cemetery was rainy and cold. The graves in the Kittanning cemetery were overgrown and a mess. I'm including some before photos so you can see how bad they were. The graves at Pine Creek were in pretty good shape. The silk roses I put on the graves last May lasted through the summer and winter with only a little fade to indicate their age. The silk flowers at Pine Creek were in great shape but I replaced them with new ones anyway. I put new silk roses and some live plants on the graves in the Kittanning cemetery. I put a new flag at Bill's grave this year as the one I placed there last year was gone. I'm including a few photos of the view from the Kittanning Cemetery and a photo of the section number where Edna, Peggy Ann, and Della (Granny) are buried. I'm also posting a photo of the Pine Creek church and it's sign to help you find the cemetery if you've never been there before. Remember please, that we can include other Cravener markers on this site for people who can't get back to the cemetery each year. Just provide the photos and I'll do the work of putting them online. May 2001 I took another trip to the cemetery. Once again I planted flowers on the graves of our loved ones. I took some new pictures and have posted them here. The new pictures will appear first in the list at the left. May 2000 Early the summer of 2000 I took a trip back to Kittanning. While there I visited the cemetery and planted some flowers. I also did some repairs on the headstones that were loose on Granny's grave and on Peggy Ann's grave. I took a bunch of photos and have decided to post some of them here for family members who aren't able to visit the cemetery. INSTRUCTIONS Select the person's name on the left who's headstone you would like to view. It will be displayed in this part of the page. You can return to this page at any time by clicking on the button labeled Introduction.
